I, Puck, am Dutch, and in the Netherlands, artificial flowers are everywhere right now. I understand why: They're beautiful (don't worry, they're a far cry from Grandma's plastic roses), they never wilt, and to me, they're like fashion. You can mix and match them, restyle them, and see them a little differently every day. When I moved to Switzerland, I couldn't find artificial flowers of the quality I was used to. The well-known suppliers weren't an option. So I founded Silkhaus, together with Sandro and Matthias. My goal: to create a place with Silkhaus for everyone who loves beauty, in harmony with sustainability. No watering. No wilting. Just beautiful bouquets that last.

I'm Sandro, founder of Silkhaus, and I'm always busy: kids, friends, sports, and constantly on the go, discovering new corners of Switzerland. I love this life - but time is often in short supply. And to be honest: When things get quiet, I certainly don't want to be replacing wilted flowers or scrubbing vases. That's why I haven't had any flowers in my home for a long time. But for me, flowers are simply a part of life. They bring rooms to life, create atmosphere, and add style. When I first discovered high-quality artificial flowers, I was thrilled! Finally, a beautiful, uncomplicated solution. No watering. No throwing away. Simply beautiful. That's how Silkhaus was born - for everyone who enjoys life and wants to beautify their home with flowers, but without the hassle.

I'm Matthias, founder of Silkhaus. For me, sustainability begins in the mind - and in the heart. I've always loved being outdoors: hiking, mushroom hunting, fishing, or gardening. I find peace and clarity in nature. With Silkhaus, I want to show that sustainability doesn't just mean "eco," but above all, it must be meaningful. For me, that means creating things that last, that bring joy, and conserve resources - even if they seem unconventional at first glance. Artificial flowers make sense to me in every way: They are produced once, stay beautiful, require no maintenance, and avoid waste. Silkhaus stands for awareness, simplicity, and longevity. For spaces that breathe and decisions that last.

Tobi makes sure that everything runs smoothly at the Silkhaus Shop. "Keep calm and code on" is his motto. Thanks to him, shopping becomes a stress-free experience. In winter, you can find him in the mountains, and in summer, somewhere between espresso and the sound of the sea in Italy with his family.

Oana brings Silkhaus into the spotlight. As a performance marketer, she ensures that people find us – at the right time, in the right place. When she's not managing campaigns, she's traveling: preferably by car, with her family, somewhere in Europe.
