Wie du Kunstblumen und Vase perfekt kombinierst

How to perfectly combine artificial flowers and a vase

Where form and color meet, style emerges. The vase is not simply a vessel; it is a stage. It carries the bouquet, frames it, and allows it to speak. A vase might be just as important as the flowers.

Whether it's a ceramic piece or a bold colorful sculpture, the key is to create a dialogue between the vase and the flowers. A colorful vase can add depth to a mono-colored artificial flower bouquet, like our "Cream Bouquet": subtly yet prominent. And vice versa: when you have a stunning, bold and colorful bouquet, the vase can be more simple.

Proportion as composition

Harmony arises when the eye finds rest. A ratio of one-third vase to two-thirds artificial flowers usually appears natural - but we like to break 'common' rules and experiment. Proportion is not a rule, but a rhythm. The good thing with artificial flowers: you can bend the stems (or even cut them) and try what works best with the vase you have.

Opening and color – small details, big impact

The opening of a vase determines how your bouquet expresses itself. The wider it is, the more voluminous the bouquet can be: it invites fullness, movement, and soft forms. A narrow opening, on the other hand, offers a smaller bouquet with only a few stems.

Those who love volume choose openness with a big bouquet with a lot of flowers. Those seeking simplicity choose a smaller ensemble with only a few stems. Both are correct – the decisive factor is the mood you want to create in your room.

And this is where the language of color begins. It translates form into emotion. A vibrant bouquet in a stoneware vase – quiet elegance. Or conversely: a monochrome bouquet in a vase that is itself a sculpture.

Styling note

With artificial flowers you have all the freedom to experiment. You can bend the stems; put something in the vase to higher the bouquet; mix and match and try what suits you best. Do you have a vase at home and are you not sure what bouquet would fit? Use our personal styling service: send us a whatsapp with the picture of the vase and we will help you to find the perfect bouquet.
